After graduating, gained experience in a variety of fields, including sales for a housing manufacturer, public relations and new business development for a professional training school for creative professionals, and human resources at an IT company. Driven by a desire to develop a comprehensive and systematic understanding of business management, obtained certification as a Certified Management Consultant (Japan) in 2011. Currently oversees the company's administrative functions while also supporting clients through a broad range of consulting and educational activities. These include consulting for small and medium-sized businesses as well as seminars for large corporations. |

Appointed Director in 2012 and concurrently became Representative Director of Kumitateru Co., Ltd. when the company was established in 2020. Has led numerous consulting engagements related to retirement benefits and the employment of older workers. Serves clients across a wide range of industries, from large corporations to small and medium-sized businesses. A regular contributor to publications including Jinji Jitsumu, Jinji Management, Elder, Kigyo Nenkin, Kinyu Journal, and Toyo Keizai. Author of Fundamentals of Defined Contribution Pension Plans and Financial Institution Responses (Keizai Horei Kenkyukai), among other works. |

| Career Highlights & Experience | Graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Hitotsubashi University in 1977 and joined The Nippon Credit Bank. Built extensive experience in corporate banking, securities business, and fixed-income investments, and in 1996 was seconded to NCB Investment Advisors, where gained expertise in pension asset management. Joined Tokio Marine Asset Management in 1999, providing investment consulting and client services to corporate pension funds, the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), mutual aid associations, financial institutions, and other institutional investors. From 2014 to 2019, served as a Corporate Pension Investment Specialist in the Corporate and Individual Pension Division of the Pension Bureau at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Joined IIC Partners as an Advisor in June 2019 and was appointed Director in October 2020. Additionally serves as a Research Fellow at a public-interest foundation specializing in pension research. |
